This is a small biography of Tomi Kitola. I live in Finland where there is only about half a year of season for motorcycling.

I’ve started motorcycling in 1993, didn’t have any money at the time so I was stuck with an old 1982 yamaha dt 125. Back then all of my friends had real motorcycles. Bought my first “big” bike after I got some loan for my studies, and rode it couple of years.

1999 I bought a motorcycle again, and started riding in streets, and track days.
2004 me and some friends put together a stunt group and started stunting, I bought me a crashed Kawasaki zx-6r -03 for a street/stunt bike. The training was really laid back without goals. Didn’t have so many friends to train with even though I wanted to. Tried some track days just for kicks and did cruising a lot, did some dirt bike riding too.

2005 I got somehow sucked into stunting and thanks to lots of newcomers in stunting I got new friends to train with and started training on a weekly basis, some times more than three times a week sometimes less. No more track days, no more cruising, no more dirt bikes. Hard training gave really good results in competitions, as you can see on the “merits” section.

I’d say this is just a hobby since I get no money out from this, except from competitions.
In the future I’ll keep on training, keep on competing, and of course doing shows, and media appearances. There is all sort of new stuff coming up next year, I even try to do little training during winter. I’d say I train a bit easy, never broken a bone, just got some bruises and cuts. I do all the repairs on the bike myself, so I feel sorry for it too, so the bike won’t get too much damage either.

Thanks to all the helpful people who have helped me in various different ways. Don’t want to mention any names because the list would be endless.
